The Media team at Pinnacle Advertising is seeking an experienced media strategist, planner and team partner to support a critical book of business across the agency’s Tier 3 automotive accounts, with the option to work on more diverse brands (e-commerce, consumer goods, etc.). Partnering with the lead strategist who owns the client relationship, you’ll help develop and present best-in-class strategic and tactical media plans, growing into leading them over time. We’re looking for a collaborative team player who is a flexible thinker, always curious, and ready to partner with internal teams on trafficking, placement, reporting, and ongoing optimizations.

• Assist with and eventually take the lead on building strategic media planning opportunities across channels to achieve key business priorities, marketing targets, performance goals, and KPIs.
\n
• Support the Senior Media Strategist, who leads media and strategic discussions during client meetings, both in person and virtually.
\n
• Attend select client meetings virtually when needed, representing Pinnacle with a positive, partnership-focused approach.
\n
• Help communicate the strategic direction of the media plans built by the lead strategist, and take ownership of ATB stewardship on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis for the client roster.
\n
• Assist with creating monthly meeting decks, including data aggregation and analysis, one-off research projects, full-funnel budget summaries, and more.
\n
• Support the lead strategist with research projects and client questions, using data, insights and marketplace understanding to solve problems and influence decisions.
\n
• Leverage industry planning and insights tools to build innovative, outcome-driven media plans.
\n
• Champion internal tools and processes, including Claude, Airtable, and our collaborative project management workflow.
\n
• Collaborate closely with media buying on plan inputs and ensure plans are executed, optimized and tracked.
\n
• Partner with the owned media and analytics team to evaluate emerging media opportunities and run ongoing testing strategies that fuel innovation.
\n

You also have proven success with:

\n
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a media planning and/or strategy role. Agency experience is desired, and automotive experience is a bonus.
\n
• Working knowledge of planning and execution across Linear, OOH, CTV/OTT, Display, Programmatic, Search, Social, and Owned Media (like influencers) tactics.
\n
• The ability to assess first- to third-party data sets and work them into strategies that drive client results.
\n
• Exceptional analytics skills, with the ability to translate media data into business performance insights and “so-what” recommendations.
\n
• Strong understanding of Google Analytics and Google Ads.
\n
• An aptitude for managing multiple budgets and media plans throughout the month.
\n
• Clear, credible and persuasive communication, plus strong presentation skills that connect insights with storytelling.
\n
• Proficiency in Keynote/PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
\n
• Experience with key tools such as Claude, Trade Desk, Amazon Ads, Meta Ads, Scarborough, Urban Science/Polk, MediaRadar/Kantar, Nielsen, and other analytics platforms.
\n
• An eagerness to connect regularly with internal teams, in person and virtually.
\n
• Bonus if you like Teams, have familiarity with Airtable, and have an amazing meme game to share in the monthly newsletter.
\n

Our office environment is a key driver of company culture and team member experience, so a regular hybrid schedule is required: in office Tuesday through Thursday, remote Monday and Friday.
