Collaborating closely with various disciplines, the remote Senior Gameplay Animator will create high-quality gameplay animations, ensuring alignment with artistic direction and technical standards while working independently with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities Develop high-quality animations for gameplay characters, ensuring they meet artistic and technical standards Collaborate with Designers and Programmers to implement animations in the game engine using Maya and proprietary tools Utilize motion capture data and hand key animation to create believable character movements and troubleshoot issues that arise Required qualifications Advanced knowledge of Maya and experience with proprietary animation tools Familiarity with game engine state machine flow and motion capture techniques Experience with MotionBuilder and Adobe Premiere is a plus Strong understanding of gameplay mechanics, including traversal and combat animations Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
